Negai Scarf
The Negai Scarf is a scarf crocheted from a simple double-sided striped pattern. It can also be made to your preferred size, crocheted into a larger shawl, or a larger blanket, etc.

First, make a slip knot and chain stitches until you reach the desired "length".

Row 1: Starting from the 4th chain stitch, crochet half double crochet (hdc) in each stitch, and finally crochet chain stitch 1(ch 1) and turn.

Row 2: Slip stitch in back loop only (sl st bio) across, then ch 2 and turn.

Row 3: The last ch 2 of the previous row is considered as the first hdc, hdc in both loops across.
To learn how to distinguish between the front loop, back loop, and both loops, please watch this video demonstration .

Next, continue repeating row 2 and 3 until you reach the desired "width". At the end of the last row 3, crochet ch 1 instead of ch 2, and then proceed to the finish row.

Finish row: Single crochet stitches across.
Cut yarn and weave in ends and you're done.
