The chimney roll scarf is a scarf crocheted from a simple striped pattern. It can also be made to your preferred size, crocheted into a larger shawl, or a larger blanket, etc.
This scarf is simple and beautiful, and no need to weave in ends.

First, make a slip knot to start and chain stitches until the desired "length" is reached. Then, cut the yarn and leave a 15cm tail as a tassel.

Row 1: Take new yarn, slip knot to start, leaving a 15cm yarn tail. Crochet hdc in back bump of each ch, cut the yarn, leaving a 15cm yarn tail. Switch color, leaving a 15cm yarn tail, ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Hdc sl st blo across, cut the yarn, leaving a 15cm tail. Turn the work.

Row 3: Take new yarn, slip knot to start, leaving a 15cm yarn tail. Sl st bro across, cut the yarn, leaving a 15cm yarn tail. Switch color, leaving a 15cm yarn tail, ch 1, turn.

Row 4: Hdc slst bio across, cut the yarn, leaving a 15cm yarn tail. Switch colors, leaving a 15cm yarn tail, ch 2 and turn.

 

Row 5: The previous ch 2 counts as the first hdc, hdc bio across, then cut the yarn. Switch color, leaving a 15cm tail of yarn, ch 1 and turn.

Finally, tie the tassels and trim them to the same length, and you're done.
